SCSIserver
TM
The preferred choice for serial port connectivity
Using the industry standard SCSI bus, available on virtually all computers sold today, SCSIserver requires no backplane slots and provides for migration to other hardware platforms. SCSIserver eliminates protocol overhead and the slow response time associated with ethernet terminal servers. Interrupt overhead and the flow-control burden placed on the processor by most embedded serial controllers is a thing of the past with SCSIserver localized flow control.
|
SC16 |
16 serial ports with full modem control on RJ45 connectors, supporting baud rates
to 115Kbaud and both soft & hard flow control localized to the SCSIserver
removing the burden from the host computer. All ports have extended protocol
capability and can be customized. All this for less than $100 per port. |
|
SC16e |
The subassembly from the above unit is an industry standard 5 1/4 inch disk form
factor for embedded applications or for saving money by providing your own
external box. Under $90 per port. |
|
SC04 |
This unit provides one parallel port and 3 serial (1 RJ11 and 2 RJ45 ports with full
modem control). |
|
SC12 |
Same as the SC04 with an additional 8 serial ports (RJ11 or RJ45 - your choice). |
|
SC20 |
Same as the SC04 with an additional 16 serial ports (RJ11 or RJ45 - your choice). |
SCSImaster
|
SC04M |
This SCSImaster unit connects one parallel port and provides for a single twisted
pair distribution system to connect up to 128 serial ports on a single SCSI ID (896
ports per SCSI bus) using
MuxMaster
®
work area concentrators. The SC04M is
also compatible with the
EASYway
TM
line of network solutions for applications
requiring redundancy, port management, fail-over, load balancing or additional
security or remote connectivity. |
